Hussein warns of Israel’s steal of Jerusalem property

Friday 26-October-2018

Al-Aqsa Mosque’s preacher and Mufti of Jerusalem Sheikh Mohammed Hussein on Friday urged the Palestinians living in Occupied Jerusalem not to sell their property to Israeli settlers.

During Friday sermon at al-Aqsa Mosque Hussein stressed that Jerusalem is a Waqf (endowment) land that must not be sold to the Israelis at any cost.

Hussein condemned the Israeli police attack on the priests of the Coptic Orthodox Church who protested some restoration work done at Deir al-Sultan monastery by the Israeli authorities without the church’s approval.

Al-Aqsa preacher praised the people of Khan al-Ahmar village who refused to leave or give up their lands and homes despite all Israeli offers and threats and called on Palestinians in other territories to support them in all possible ways.

Thousands of Palestinians coming from Jerusalem and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque amid tightened Israeli restrictions.
