The Israeli Occupation Authority (IOA) last week banned 69 Palestinians from travelling abroad via al-Karama crossing the only pathway that connects Palestinians in the West Bank to the outside world through Jordan.
Palestinian police in Ramallah said in a statement that the IOA did not release details on the reasons of the ban of travel orders and confined that to security purposes.
The statement pointed out that over 43000 Palestinians managed last week to travel via the same crossing in both directions whereas 42 others were arrested by the Palestinian police.
