IOA banned travel of 109 Palestinians in West Bank last month

Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) banned over the past month the travel of 109 Palestinians via al-Karama crossing the only pathway that connects Palestinians in the West Bank to the outside world through Jordan.

Palestinian police in Ramallah said in a press statement on Saturday that 140000 Palestinians were allowed to travel through al-Karama border crossing in both directions.

The police pointed out that some 68387 Palestinians were allowed to leave the West Bank through the crossing last month. While the number of the arrivals was 70983 Palestinians. The police however arrested 191 “wanted” Palestinians at the border crossing.

The statement also revealed that coordination was done for 46 sick travelers who were allowed to travel in Palestinian ambulance cars.
