The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Sunday morning banned the Palestinian minister of education Sabri Saydam from entering Beit Iksa village in Occupied Jerusalem.
The ministry of education said in a press release that Israeli soldiers prevented Saydam and the accompanying delegation from entering Beit Iksa village through its checkpoint at the separation wall.
The IOA also withdrew Saydam’s permit allowing his entry to Israel and Jerusalem a measure described by the ministry as part of a systematic campaign targeting the Palestinian educational process.
