Israeli bulldozers on Tuesday razed a vast tract of Palestinian-owned land in Immatain town east of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) seized and bulldozed about 15 dunums of land to carry out settlement expansion projects.
The sources told Quds Press that it was the third time the same area was exposed to bulldozing activities in order to expand the industrial zone of Emmanuel settlement at the expense of Palestinian lands.
They affirmed that the Israeli government wants to build new factories on the annexed land pointing out that Palestinian citizens from the town have documents proving that these lands belong to them.
Based on these ownership papers the higher court of justice had previously frozen Israel’s bulldozing activities on these lands the sources added.
