IOA bulldozes land demolishes car wash in Nabi Samwil village

Thursday 7-July-2022

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) bulldozed on Thursday morning a swath of land planted with trees and destroyed a commercial facility belonging to Palestinian citizens in an-Nabi Samwil village northwest of Jerusalem at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

According to local sources bulldozers belonging to the Israeli municipality in Occupied Jerusalem stormed the village and embarked on razing a piece of land belonging to Luay Kiswani.

The bulldozers wreaked havoc on everything on this land including its trees and walls.

The Israeli municipality also demolished a car wash belonging to Anas Obeid in the same village.

An-Nabi Samwil is one of the Palestinian villages in Occupied Jerusalem whose residents are isolated with a separation wall and not allowed to enter the holy city and the West Bank without special permits or prior coordination with the Israeli security authorities

Since 1967 the residents of the village about 300 Palestinians have been suffering from systematic Israel persecution and attempts to force them to leave their homes. They are also denied their rights to construction and urban expansion.
