The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) decided on Saturday morning to close the Beit Hanoun (Erez) border crossing starting from Sunday till further notice.
Israeli media sources claimed that IOA decided to close the crossing for workers and merchants on Sunday in response to overnight rocket fire.
Earlier Friday Israeli military sources claimed two rockets were fired from Gaza.
