The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has decided to close al-Jalamah crossing north of Jenin in the Occupied West Bank for two days at the pretext of Jewish holidays.
According to local sources the crossing was closed on Saturday night to all Palestinian citizens who need to travel from the West Bank to Israel (the 1948 occupied territory) and will remain so until Monday May 21.
The Palestinians who live in Israel will be banned as well from using the crossing to enter Jenin or the West Bank during these two days.
The Israeli-controlled Jalamah crossing is the sole designated exit and entry point for Palestinians traveling in and out of the 1948 occupied lands.
