The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has continued to bulldoze vast tracts of Palestinian land in Palestinian towns in Salfit to expand the illegal settlement of Rababa.
According to local sources the IOA is working on expanding Rababa settlement and building new settler homes at the expense of Palestinian areas in the towns of Deir Istiya Haris and Qarawat Bani Hassan northwest of Salfit.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing Israeli bulldozers uprooting forest and olive trees and razing large swaths of green and agricultural land.
Salfit province suffers from the presence of many Jewish settlements and industrial zones on its land where they have become more in number than the Palestinian province’s villages and towns and they are still expanding.
