IOA embarks on building new bypass for settlers in W. Bank

Monday 4-November-2019

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has started to build a new bypass road for Jewish settlers in the West Bank.

According to Israel Hayom newspaper on Monday the IOA started on Sunday to build a seven-kilometer bypass located between the towns of Arroub and Beit Ummar in the south of the West Bank.

The IOA approved the construction of this road six years ago and plans to finish in 2022.

This road is part of a large-scale transportation plan aimed at connecting Israeli settlements with each other in the south and north of the West Bank and the Jordan Valley.
