The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has extended the administrative detention of senior Hamas official Rizq al-Rajoub for an additional four months.
Rajoub was supposed to be released on Thursday April 7 but an Israeli military court decided to extend his detention administratively at the request of the Shin Bet intelligence service.
The Israeli occupation forces kidnaped Rajoub from his home in Dura town south of al-Khalil in 2017. His detention at the time happened one week after his release from an Israeli jail following 29 months in administrative detention.
He had spent more than 28 years in different Israeli jails and suffers from multiple health problems.
