The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has extended the administrative detention of 17-year-old Husam Abu Khalifa from al-Walaja village in Bethlehem one day before his scheduled release from prison.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society Abu Khalifa was arrested on November 12 2017 and since then he has been in renewed administrative detention.
A court hearing will be held for the teenager next Sunday and if the court confirmed the administrative detention order against him he would start an open-ended hunger strike to protest the verdict.
Another kid called Muhand Hammad is also administratively detained in Ofer jail with no due process of law.
