IOA extends detention of five Jerusalemites

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has extended the detention of five Jerusalemite citizens and released two others into house confinement.

According to local sources an Israeli court extended the detention of Nidhal al-Rajbi and his two sons Ahmed and Fadi until tomorrow Friday.

The father and his sons were detained on Tuesday when the IOA demolished his commercial facility in al-Bustan neighborhood in the east Jerusalem district of Silwan.

The court also extended the detention of two other Jerusalemites from Silwan. They were identified as Mousa Ruwaidi and Saif al-Abbasi.

Meanwhile the IOA released a teenager called Nasrallah al-Awar on condition of having a third part pay 5000 shekels to bail him out and staying under house arrest for five days. He was detained last Wednesday from Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan.

Another Jerusalemite called Iyad al-Rajbi was also given conditional release. He was ordered to be under house arrest for five days sign a bail of 10000 shekels and refrain from talking with his brothers for one month.
