The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) forced on Wednesday a Jerusalemite man to demolish his own house in Silwan south of Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.
The Dewik family clarified that it was forced to demolish its house on their own to avoid paying exorbitant expenses for the occupation municipality.
The occupation municipality issued 20 days ago a demolition order against the house which was built in 2017 and which provides shelter for nine persons including seven children.
Recently the IOA stepped up its demolition policy of Jerusalemites’ houses and force them to do the demolition on their own.
