The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) forced two brothers in Silwan town in Occupied Jerusalem to raze their own home on Sunday.
Local sources said that the IOA municipality ordered the two brothers Firas and Iyad Da’ana to level their homes that was still being constructed at the pretext of lack of permit.
Iyad said that the municipality told them to raze their home or else municipality crews would demolish it and they will have to pay the sum of 50000 shekels as demolition costs.
He underlined that he and his brother had tried more than once to obtain a construction permit but were always denied permission.
The IOA forced more than 20 Palestinians in Occupied Jerusalem to tear down their homes since the start of 2020.
