The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) handed on Tuesday demolition notices to owners of two houses in Edhna town to the west of al-Khalil city under the pretext of building without a permit.
The Quds Press news agency quoting the public relations department in the municipality of Edhna town said that the IOA handed demolition notices to Mohammad Saleh for his two houses claiming that they were built in Area C without a prior permit.
The agency pointed out that two-thirds of Edhna town is classified under Area C (according to the Oslo Agreement signed by the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Israel in 1993). 20 thousand dunums of the town’s lands were confiscated by the IOA it added.
