Tuesday 18-October-2022

The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Tuesday released two female Jerusalemite activists from Israeli jails providing that they will be deported from the Old City of Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that an Israeli court decided to release the Jerusalemite activist Hanadi Halawani and ban her entry into the Old City for five days in addition to imposing on her a fine of 2000 shekels.

The sources added that the other activist Kefah Natsha was released and served a deportation order from the city for 25 days in addition to imposing a fine of 700 shekels on her.

Earlier on Monday Israeli police detained the two Jerusalemite activists Halawani and Natsha in the Bab al-Silsila area during a Jewish settlers’ raid into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The IOA has been launching large-scale campaigns of arrest against Jerusalemite activists in addition to preventing them from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem and banning them from travel.
