The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) notified on Monday halting the construction of two Palestinian houses in al-Shuyukh town to the north of al-Khalil city.
Local sources said that the IOA handed stop-construction notices to the owners of the two houses for allegedly building without a license according to Quds Press.
The IOA demolished in 2016 about 1023 Palestinian buildings in the West Bank and Jerusalem including 488 houses and notified the demolition of 657 others.
The Israeli authorities continue to demolish the Palestinian houses in the Israeli-controlled Area C which covers 60% of the West Bank in an attempt to force the Palestinian citizens out of it.
