The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Wednesday approved the construction of eight housing units in the illegal settlement of Migdal Oz near Beit Fajjar town south of Bethlehem.
A local official said that the IOA announced its approval of a plan to build those units in the settlement adding that there is a plan to build another 600 units in the future in the same settlement.
He pointed out that the IOA recently accelerated plans to puff up its small settlements in the West Bank especially those in Gush Etzion.
