The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Sunday morning demolished a Palestinian house in Biddya town west of Salfit in the West Bank at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers stormed Biddya town and bulldozed the house of a local farmer called Saleem Salama.
The IOA claimed the house was located in an Israeli area classified as Area C where Palestinians are not given construction permits.
In a separate incident the IOA on the same day approved a plan to appropriate dozens of dunums of Palestinian land in Bethlehem province.
Local official Hasan Burejiya told WAFA news agency that the IOA sanctioned decisions to seize vast tracts of land in different areas of Bethlehem to carry out settlement projects.
