The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Wednesday demolished a fence under construction in Hizma town northeast of Jerusalem and delivered demolition notices against other structures in Judeira town.
Bashar Abu Khalil said that an Israeli bulldozer knocked down a fence surrounding two dunums of land belonging to his family in Hizma town pointing out that the fence had been built in 2017.
For his part local activist Waleed Azzam said that the IOA notified citizens in Judeira town northwest of Jerusalem of its intents to demolish a man-made water pond a cattle shelter and a fence.
The IOA as always claimed the structures were unlicensed.
The IOA has recently intensified its demolition campaigns in the occupied Palestinian territories especially in Jerusalem where it demolished dozens of homes and forced other owners to demolish their own homes.
