The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Wednesday morning demolished a house and cattle shed in as-Sawahira town in the southeast of Jerusalem.
Yunis Jafar head of a local land defense committee said that the demolished house and shed belonged to a local resident called Ismail Saray’ah adding that the IOA also confiscated equipment from the area.
In a separate incident dozens of Jewish settlers on the same day plowed a vast tract of agricultural land belonging to Palestinian citizens in eastern Bethlehem.
Local official Hasan Bureijia said that a group of settlers under military protection plowed dozens of dunums of land in the eastern rural areas of Khilat al-Batma and Shaab al-Lasaf as a prelude to seizing them.
