The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) released on Thursday Waheed al-Borsh a UNDP employee at Erez Crossing after six months of detention.
The IOA arrested the UNDP engineer al-Borsh 38 in July last year under the pretext of aiding the Hamas Movement.
The IOA claimed that al-Borsh issued orders by which UNDP trucks offloaded 300 tons of rubble from the site of destroyed Palestinian houses in Gaza to the port which the IOA claimed is under Hamas’s control.
Hamas had denied the charge as baseless and added that the charge fell in line with attempts to tighten the strangulation of the besieged enclave.
