The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Sunday morning reopened the crossings of Karam Abu Salem and Beit Hanoun (Erez) with the Gaza Strip after they were closed for about four days.
According to Israeli news reports Israeli army minister Avigdor Lieberman ordered the reopening of the two crossings following a decrease in violence.
A decision to continue Qatari supply of fuel will be re-examined in a few days according to the events Lieberman’s office announced Sunday morning.
The crossings were closed last week after a rocket landed in the sea south of Tel Aviv and another caused damage to a residential home in Beersheba.
Lieberman had also ordered the reduction of the Gazan fishing zone from six to three nautical miles.
