The Israeli Ofer Court sentenced a number of Palestinian prisoners to different prison terms and imposed on them heavy fines a rights group revealed.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said that the prisoners Mahmoud Fawzi was sentenced to 64 months imprisonment and a fine of 3000 shekels (about 600 euros).
Along the same line the prisoner Jamal Namoura was sentenced to 45 months and a fine of 3000 shekels while the two prisoners Malek Khatib and Mohamed Shalabi were sentenced to 24 months imprisonment and a fine of 2000 shekels for both of them.
The prisoner Adam Shihada was sentenced to 21 months plus a fine of 3000 shekels while the prisoner Mohamed Abu Khudeir was sentenced to 17 months and a fine of 2000 shekels.
A sentence of 16-month imprisonment was also imposed on the prisoner Mahmoud Abu Ghazi plus a fine of 2000 Shekels.
