The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) ruled for banning projected family visits to Gazan prisoners held in Israeli jails due to the Sukkot Jewish holiday.
Red Cross spokeswoman Suheir Zaqout said they have been informed about an Israeli decision banning dozens of Palestinian families from visiting their imprisoned relatives.
Earlier on Saturday the IOA closed off all the access roads and crossings into the West Bank and Gaza Strip to mark the so-called Sukkot holiday.
