Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) over the past two days have handed home demolition orders to 21 Palestinian families living in Wadi al-Siq Bedouin community east of the West Bank city of Ramallah.
Local sources said that the families were given a time limit until 10 June to appear at the so-called Civil Administration’s headquarters for further procedures.
The IOA also ordered the families to evacuate their homes and move to areas classified as “A” or “B” claiming that their homes were built in Israeli-controlled area based on the Oslo Accords.
Bedouins are the most isolated and vulnerable communities in the West Bank. Exploiting this the IOA constantly targets them with arbitrary demolition campaigns and forcible transfers to further expand its settlement projects there.
