The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Monday delivered demolition notices against two privately-owned structures in the Masafer Yatta south of the West Bank city of al-Khalil.
The coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committees Fuad Al-Amour affirmed that the IOA delivered two notices to Najeh Kabanah and Mohammad al-Atamin ordering the demolition of their homes in al-Khalil under the pretext of construction without a permit.
In a related incident Israeli occupation forces (IOF) confiscated the bulldozer of Ahmad Abu Baker after storming his land in the Um-Reiha area in Ya’bad village southwest of the West Bank city of Jenin. The IOF also arrested Bassam Jamal who works for Abu Baker after confiscating his bulldozer.
Israel demolishes privately-owned constructions houses and mosques in the occupied West Bank as part of its scheme to facilitate its settlement expansion policy.
