The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday closed the Salfit-Kifl Hares road which leads to Ariel settlement north of the city.
Eyewitnesses said that IOF soldiers and intelligence officers abruptly closed the road and prevented movement in both directions for no apparent reasons forcing dozens of Palestinian vehicles to take alternative bumpy roads.
The Israeli forces every now and then block the roads connecting the towns and villages of the West Bank under flimsy security pretexts.
