IOF arrest campaign in Jenin

Friday 1-October-2021

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Friday three Palestinians after breaking into Qabatiya town in Jenin district.

Local sources told the PIC reporter that Israeli forces stormed the town in large numbers before arresting three local youths.

The IOF soldiers raided several houses in the town including the house of the Palestinian woman who was killed yesterday by Israeli police in occupied Jerusalem after claiming she was about to carry out a stabbing attempt.

Earlier on Thursday Israeli police officers opened fire at a woman near the Silsila Gate of the Aqsa Mosque and fatally wounded her.

The young woman who was later identified as 30-year-old Israa Khuzaimiya was cold-bloodedly shot dead by the Israeli police on allegations of her attempt to stab an officer.

For long years the Israeli military and security forces have been given the green light to use deadly force solely against the Palestinians who are accused or suspected of attacking or intending to attack Jewish settlers or soldiers even when they do not pose an immediate threat or try to defend themselves.
