The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a large-scale arrest campaign in Surif town to the north of al-Khalil on Saturday morning.
Local sources said that the IOF rounded up 24 inhabitants of the town most of whom are liberated prisoners.
They added that the detainees included a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and a young woman.
