GAZA (PIC)– Al-Mizan Center for Human Rights revealed that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested 65 fishermen including 10 minors injured 6 others and confiscated 22 fishing boats in 58 attacks off Gaza sea in five months.
In a statement on Sunday the center pointed to the escalated attacks by Israeli forces after allowing Gazan fishermen to sail into nine nautical miles on April 03.
In the same context the Palestinian Center for Human Rights considered the Israeli aggressive practices against Palestinian fishermen in Gaza Strip as a form of massive punishment.
The Palestinian Center called in a statement on the international community to intervene to protect Palestinian fishermen and guarantee their right to practice fishing freely and to halt targeting them and their properties which is considered a violation of the international humanitarian law.
