Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Sunday night and at dawn Monday a campaign of arrests in various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.

IOF raided the city center of Ramallah and several villages and arrested the released prisoner Najeeb Mafarjah from Beit Liqia town. Mafarjah was released less than a month ago from previous administrative detention.

The IOF soldiers confiscated the equipment of a printing press for the prisoner Ibrahim Musaffar. He was arrested from his home in Al-Nubani farms a few days ago and this is the fourth time the IOF seizes his printing press.

In al-Bireh IOF arrested the owner of Al-Fransi Press Fadi Abdel-Dayem and four ex-prisoners from Beit Rima town north of Ramallah.

Meanwhile IOF clashed violently with the youths in Birzeit town while they were leaving Kober town. The citizens confronted the IOF attack by throwing Molotov cocktails and stones.

In Qalqilya the town of Kafr Qaddum witnessed clashes with IOF that lasted until the late hours of Sunday night.

In al-Khalil the IOF soldiers arrested Nidal Al-Awawda after raiding his house in Al-Kom town south of al-Khalil.

In Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli police arrested three Palestinians after storming their homes in the al-Thawri neighborhood in Silwan and took them for investigation.

A special unit of the occupation police arrested the boy Adnan Abu Al-Hawa from al-Tur town and took him to an investigation center in the city.

WEST BANK (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Sunday 11 Palestinians and summoned six others during raids carried out in al-Khalil Tulkarem Jenin Nablus and Jerusalem.

The IOF raided the town of Bani Naim east of al-Khalil where they broke into and searched a house belonging to Youssef Mawas and then withdrew after arresting his son Youssef 19. Youssef was transferred to Etzion detention center south of Bethlehem in the West Bank.

An Israeli military force has also arrested five citizens from the city of Tulkarem after raiding and searching their houses locals reported.

In Jenin dozens of Israeli soldiers raided Arraba village and arrested two citizens including the brother of long-term hunger striker Jafar Azzidine.

They raided the house of prisoner Jafar and confiscated two cell phones and a laptop.

The troops have also summoned 3 brothers from Arraba to the Israeli intelligence office in Salem military camp after breaking into their houses and questioning their family members.

The Palestinian young man Saleh Adib 22 was also detained during raids of a number of houses in the old city of Nablus.

Nasser Qaws director of Prisoners Society in Jerusalem reported that the IOF arrested at dawn Sunday two Jerusalemites from their homes in the Old City in occupied Jerusalem on charge of participating in confronting the settlers who have attempted to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile the occupation troops stormed a number of neighborhoods in the governorates of Bethlehem and al-Khalil and set up a checkpoint in Fawwar camp where they stopped citizens’ vehicles and searched them.

A large number of Israeli forces have been also deployed on the bypass road No. 60 connecting east and north of the West Bank.
