IOF arrests 5 Palestinians in West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Friday arrested five Palestinians in Nablus and Jenin in the northern West Bank.

A local source told the PIC reporter that the IOF arrested four Palestinian youths at Za’tara checkpoint south of Nablus city.

The source explained that the IOF stopped a Palestinian vehicle at Za’tara checkpoint and arrested Anas al-Bahsh Ameer al-Bahsh Yanal al-Asi and Farouq al-Sayyed.

Another Palestinian youth from Burqin town west of Jenin city was arrested by the IOF during a dawn raid.

The PIC reporter said quoting local sources that the IOF soldiers arrested Mohammed Khalouf in Burqin after breaking into his house and wreaking havoc on it.

The IOF further erected a military checkpoint on Jenin-Haifa road west of Jenin stopped Palestinian vehicles and scrutinized passengers’ IDs.

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at dawn Friday rounded up at least five Palestinians after storming Qabatya town southwest of Jenin and Bethlehem governorate. A number of Palestinian citizens choked on the IOF-fired tear gas during clashes that erupted shortly after the incursion.

Local sources told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers broke into Palestinian homes especially the old houses in the town and arrested two men. As a result clashes erupted in the eastern neighborhood of Qabatya leading to suffocation among Palestinian youths in addition to others who suffered breathing problems inside their homes.

The sources pointed out that IOF troops claimed finding a bomb which they blew up in the district. Besides the IOF stormed a prisoner’s house and assaulted his family members.

While in Bethlehem IOF soldiers raided several districts in the province and stormed and wreaked havoc in a number of Palestinian homes in the city. Israeli forces also arrested three men from different towns and villages in the governorate.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Monday 5 Palestinian citizens in a large-scale raid campaign launched in various parts of the West Bank.

A report by the Israeli army said that the IOF arrested 3 Palestinians who are allegedly wanted on charges of carrying out resistance activities against Israeli soldiers and settlers.

According to the report two of the arrested Palestinians are from Nablus city while the third is from Tuqu’ town to the west of Bethlehem.

The Israeli army said that its forces confiscated a vehicle in Tuqu’ which it claimed was used by Palestinians to carry out attacks against Israeli targets.

Quds Press reported that the IOF stormed Tuqu’ town arrested Malek al-Amour 17 and confiscated his father’s vehicle after raiding and searching his family’s house.

It added that the IOF handed Hazem al-Badin 18 from Tuqu’ an order to appear before the Israeli Intelligence in Gush Etzion settlement south of Bethlehem after raiding and searching his family’s house.

According to local sources in al-Khalil the IOF arrested Mohammed Za’aqiq 22 after storming Beit Ummar town to the north of the city and searching his house and tampering with its contents. Za’aqiq was taken to Gush Etzion interrogation center south of Bethlehem.

They reported that the IOF arrested three other youths from Askar refugee camp to the east of Nablus city during the clashes that erupted at dawn after the IOF soldiers broke into the camp.

WEST BANK (PIC)– Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed Azzun town east of Qalqiliya and Hawara town south of Nablus at dawn Thursday. Five Palestinians were arrested.

Undercover Israeli forces have stormed Azzoun town in a white vehicle where they kidnapped two youths and took them to a nearby military camp local sources revealed.

The Israeli occupation forces had stormed the two youths’ homes a week ago but they failed to arrest them. 30 Palestinians houses were stormed during the past week.

Meanwhile Israeli forces stormed Thursday Hawara village south of Nablus and raided several houses. Three Palestinians were arrested and several others were summoned for Israeli intelligence interrogation.

Many houses were violently stormed during the Israeli raid.
