Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday afternoon arrested a Palestinian youth at al-Jalama checkpoint north of Jenin.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the IOF arrested Ramzi Abu Jelda as he approached al-Jalama checkpoint which leads to the 1948 occupied territories.
The sources added that IOF soldiers were later deployed in large numbers in the neighboring areas.
There are hundreds of permanent and temporary checkpoints scattered across the West Bank. Arbitrary arrests targeting Palestinian citizens are witnessed on almost a daily basis at these checkpoints.
