The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Monday afternoon a Palestinian young man at a military checkpoint erected south of Nablus.

Eyewitnesses affirmed that the young man was removed from a car stopped at the military checkpoint.

The young man was forced to remain on the road for long hours the sources added.

Dozens of vehciles were also stopped and searched.

Local sources identified the detainee as Abdul Rahman Qasim from Jenin refugee camp.

Israeli forces earlier rounded up a number of Qasim’s family members.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested a young man on Monday afternoon after erecting a military checkpoint at the entrance to Fawar refugee camp south of al*-Khalil southern West Bank.

According to the PIC reporter a military checkpoint was erected at the entrance to the camp without prior notice. Several Palestinian vehicles were stopped and searched at the site.

A young man later identified as Hassan Shawabkha was arrested during the search operation.

The checkpoint was shortly removed following his arrest.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested overnight a Palestinian from Tamun town south of Tubas at a military checkpoint.

Local sources affirmed to the PIC reporter that Zaher Wahdan 24 was stopped at Hawara checkpoint while on his way back home for nearly an hour before being arrested and taken to unknown detention center.

Israeli authorities have several checkpoints in the West Bank. These checkpoints may be permanent or temporary. Palestinians are forced to cross these checkpoints on daily basis.

At the checkpoints Palestinians are subject to humiliation prolonged inspections and searches and arrests by the army.
