The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Monday evening a Palestinian child after clashes broke out in Beit Ummar town north of al-Khalil.
Local sources identified the detained minor as Khaled Bahar 14.
Khaled was playing with his friends outside his family house when clashes broke out in the area the sources added.
IOF fired rubber bullets at the group of children and arrested Khaled for allegedly throwing stones during the clashes.
Local residents tried to free the child however; the IOF soldiers took him away in a military jeep.
Similar clashes erupted in Seir town north of al-Khalil.
