IOF arrests Palestinian in Ramallah

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Saturday a Palestinian from Jalazone refugee camp to the north of Ramallah city a day after detaining his brother.

A PIC reporter said that the IOF arrested Ammar al-Tirawi and took him to an unknown destination after raiding and searching his family’s house.

A local source reported that IOF soldiers accompanied by a large infantry force broke into the camp attacked Tirawi’s family for the second day in a row and wreaked havoc on their house.

Clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and IOF soldiers after the latter raided Jalazone camp on Friday the first day of Eid al-Adha and arrested three young men including Ammar’s brother Amer.

In a related context an Israeli military force clashed on Friday evening with Palestinian youths in Tuqu’ town to the east of Bethlehem after raiding the town closing its western entrance and blocking citizens’ movement Quds Press reported.

Local sources said that a number of Palestinians were injured as IOF soldiers heavily fired tears gas canisters at the youths who responded by throwing stones empty bottles and Molotov cocktails.

Israeli raid and arrest campaigns are witnessed almost daily in the occupied West Bank even during Eid days.

IOF arrests Palestinian in Ramallah

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Friday a Palestinian young man after breaking into different areas of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

Israeli media sources claimed that an activist in Hamas Movement was arrested in Sinjil town in Ramallah and was taken for investigation.

Similar raids were carried out throughout West Bank cities and towns where several locals were summoned for investigation.

Limited clashes broke out during the raids.

Meanwhile Israeli forces confiscated a large amount of money in Dura town south of al-Khalil after violently storming the town at dawn today.

The IOF claimed that the confiscated money was suspected to be used to fund resistance operations.
