Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday claimed that they arrested a Palestinian youth who attempted a stabbing attack near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil.
Israeli media sources said that the IOF arrested a Palestinian who was allegedly possessing a knife and plotting a stabbing attack in al-Khalil.
The detainee was searched and transferred to an Israeli detention center for interrogation they added.
Five arrest incidents by the IOF over alleged knife possession have been witnessed in al-Khalil in the past 48 hours.
