Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up a Palestinian youth near Nablus afternoon Sunday after claiming he attempted to stab a Jewish settler.
Hebrew daily Maariv quoted an IOF spokesman as saying that the young man was chased and apprehended in Salem village near Jenin.
It claimed that the unidentified youth tried to stab a settler who was waiting at a bus stop near Yitzhar settlement and fled the scene.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday arrested a Palestinian youth near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil for allegedly attempting to carry out a stabbing attack.
The IOF said in a statement that a 17-year-old Palestinian was stopped and arrested at a military checkpoint near the Ibrahimi Mosque for planning to stab Israeli soldiers.
The IOF soldiers said that they searched the detainee whose identity has not been revealed yet and found a knife in his possession.
On Monday the IOF killed the Palestinian Muammar al-Atrash a father of seven one of whom is a prisoner in Israeli jails and claimed that he stabbed an Israeli soldier in the same area.
