Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning arrested a Palestinian youth at a military checkpoint erected near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil.

Local sources reported that the IOF set up a temporary checkpoint near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of al-Khalil and started to scrutinize the IDs of the Palestinian citizens in the area.

Later on they added the IOF soldiers arrested the 18-year-old Sa’di Jaber and took him to an unknown destination before removing the checkpoint.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested a Palestinian young man on Thursday after closing the entrance to Al-Karantina neighborhood linking between the northern and southern parts of al-Khalil city south of West Bank.

Local residents were prevented from leaving or entering the neighborhood the PIC reporter said.

The Israeli military restrictions came shortly after clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces in the area.

A 24-year-old youngster was arrested during the events.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Thursday evening a Palestinian young man as clashes broke out in Dura town south of al-Khalil.

According to the PIC reporter the clashes broke out when Israeli forces stormed the town in total provocation to local residents.

Local youths responded by throwing stones at the soldiers.

A young man was detained during the clashes and taken to an unknown detention center.
