Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested on Tuesday afternoon head of Burqah village council Sami Daghlas 58 as he was taking part in a peaceful march that kicked off west of Nablus city in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
The family of the detainee told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers blocked the peaceful solidarity march at al-Tanib military barrier on Nablus-Tulkarem road and assaulted the marchers.
The IOF soldiers severely beat Daghlas and took him to Huwara military camp south of Nablus city the family added. Other protesters were detained for a while before being released after Israeli soldiers closed the military checkpoint.
