The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Sunday evening a Palestinian young man from Salem town to the east of the northern West Bank province of Nablus.
Eyewitnesses told PIC reporter that the young man Madi Hamed Ashtiyeh was arrested after being injured as clashes broke out in the eastern part of the town.
Salem town has recently witnessed almost daily clashes between local youths and IOF soldiers where dozens were arrested or injured.
Since the start of Palestinian wave of anger against US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel on Dec. 7 17 Palestinians were killed while 3500 others were injured in West Bank occupied Jerusalem and Gaza strip.
