The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday arrested scores of Palestinian citizens near al-Shuweika Gate of the separation fence in Tulkarem north of the West Bank and took them to an unknown place.
Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers arrested a large number of Palestinian passengers who were stranded in the 1948 occupied land after they were allowed to cross through al-Shuweika Gate which was opened for several days and closed last night.
The sources added that the soldiers arrested all the citizens who were inside the area of the fence and herded them together before taking them away aboard a bus.
Many Palestinians were also arrested last night in the same area and transported to detention centers.
