The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning arrested a senior officer of the Palestinian Authority (PA) intelligence agency in Jerusalem with no known reason.
Senior Fatah official Shadi Matwar said that Israeli soldiers arrested Jihad al-Faqih head of the intelligence directorate in Jerusalem in an ambush in al-Judeira village northwest of the holy city.
Matwar added that Faqih was taken in for interrogation at the Maskubiya police station in Jerusalem.
