Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested at dawn Saturday Muhammed al-Barghouti son of Hamas martyr Abu Asef al-Barghouti after storming and searching his house in Kuber village in northern Ramallah.
The detainee’s mother said that IOF soldiers broke into the family’s home and wreaked havoc on it before arresting her son.
Meanwhile confrontations erupted in Birzeit village also in Ramallah after the IOF raided the village. Palestinian youths throw Molotov Cocktails at the raiding forces.
Omer al-Bargohuti Abu Asef a renowned Palestinian leader who spent half of his life in Israeli jails passed away in March this year after leaving behind a great legacy that all Palestinians are proud of.
The al-Bargohtui family made enormous sacrifices for Palestine one of Abu Asef’s sons Saleh was killed by the IOF while his brother Asef is serving several life prison sentences in Israeli occupation jails.
