The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Tuesday evening two Palestinian singers for “inciting violence against Israel”.
The two singers Mussa Haroub and Ahmed Masri from al-Khalil were detained after singing Palestinian national songs.
Spokesperson for Israeli army Avichay Adraee claimed that the two singers were arrested for producing and recording songs inciting against Israel.
Their arrest was not the first of its kind. Dozens of Palestinian singers journalists and activists were also rounded up under the same pretext.
