IOF arrests two lawyers in West Bank among others

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided on Saturday night and at dawn Sunday various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem. Several Palestinians were arrested including two lawyers.

In Tulkarem IOF broke into the city and stationed in many of its neighborhoods without any arrests or injuries reported.

In Jenin IOF stormed a fuel station and several shops and seized surveillance camera recordings near the entrance to Ya’bad town southwest of Jenin. Qusay al-Sheikh was also arrested from Jenin.

In Nablus settlers attacked Palestinians their vehicles and property at the crossroads of Burqa Hawara and Za’tara south of Nablus and the Sarra-Jeet road to the west.

In Ramallah a group of settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles on the road near the Shilo settlement north of Ramallah.

In al-Khalil IOF arrested lawyer Suhail Al-Husseini and his son lawyer Fahd after storming their home in the Jabal Jawhar area of al-Khalil.

IOF stormed Yatta town south of al-Khalil and arrested Hussein Al-Harini after searching his house and tampering with its contents.

Meanwhile IOF set up military checkpoints at the entrances to the towns of Beit Anoun Bani Naim and Wadi al-Saman and closed the iron gate at the entrance to Beit Awa town west of al-Khalil.

In Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli police stormed Kafr Aqab town to the north of Jerusalem and stationed in the vicinity of the Al-Rajabi family home.

The occupation police raided Al-Tur town in Jerusalem and arrested Hamouda Abu Sbitan after they raided and searched his house in the town.

Palestinian youths fired fireworks at the Israeli police in Issawiya village northeast of Occupied Jerusalem.

The IOF soldiers launch daily search and arrest campaigns in the West Bank during which they raid homes destroy property and terrorize residents especially women and children.
