The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday arrested and assaulted two Palestinian young men during their presence inside the Salem military base where a notorious kangaroo court is also located.
Informed sources in Jenin told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers closed the entrance to the Salem military base and court suddenly and then violently subdued two young visitors and detained them.
They added that soldiers also physically assaulted other Palestinian citizens inside the base without providing a reason for such behavior.
According to the sources one of the detained young men was identified as Hamada Khaldoun a resident of Qalqilya and was allowed into the base in order to attend a court hearing that was held for his brother. The identity of the other detainee is still unknown.
