Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot a Palestinian young man on the outskirts of Jericho in the West Bank on Thursday evening then arrested him.
Eyewitnesses reported that IOF soldiers shot and wounded a young man whose identity was not known yet and took him prisoner.
They added that the soldiers were deployed in big numbers following the incident and closed the northern entrance to Jericho and embarked on checking IDs of commuters.
